Day 1 – Negombo
Welcome to Sri Lanka! Feel the tropical warmth as you arrive, a delightful contrast to colder climates. We’ll greet you at the airport and take you to Negombo, just 20 minutes away. Once a sleepy fishing village, now a thriving coastal resort town, Negombo perfectly blends colonial charm and beachside allure—setting the tone for your incredible journey ahead.
Day 2 – Dambulla or Sigiriya
After breakfast, your adventure begins. Travel inland to Dambulla or Sigiriya, a scenic 4–5 hour journey. On the way, you may opt for a detour to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where rescued elephants live freely along the Maha Oya River. A touching experience that connects you to Sri Lanka’s wildlife heritage.
Day 3 – Dambulla or Sigiriya
Your day is packed with immersive activities. Enjoy an elephant ride in Habarana, visit Anuradhapura or Polonnaruwa, ancient capitals with majestic ruins dating back to 500 BC.
