Itinerary
Day 01:
- Be warmly welcomed at the airport by your cheerful chauffeur and travel in VIP comfort to Kandy, stopping along the way to visit the iconic Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
Day 02:
- Enjoy a guided city tour of Kandy’s cultural gems during the day, followed by a vibrant traditional cultural performance in the evening.
Day 03:

Day 1 – Kandy
Your Sri Lankan journey begins with a warm welcome at the airport by your cheerful driver/guide. Sit back and relax as you’re transported in comfort to Kandy. On the way, enjoy a stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Sanctuary, where you’ll witness these gentle giants bathing and even meet the adorable baby elephants. After a scenic 3.5 to 4-hour drive, check into your preferred hotel in Kandy for a restful evening.
Day 2 – Kandy
Ease into your day with a late breakfast before your afternoon Kandy City Tour. Highlights include the sacred Temple of the Tooth, the serene Kandy Lake, and possibly the lush Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Cap off the evening with an optional Cultural Show featuring vibrant traditional dances and fire performances. Return to your Kandy hotel for a second relaxing night.
Day 3 – Habarana, Dambulla or Sigirya
After breakfast, depart for your next destination—Habarana, Dambulla or Sigiriya. Visit the Temple of the Tooth if you missed it earlier, or stop by a local Spice Garden to discover the island’s rich botanical heritage. In the afternoon, climb the famed Sigiriya Rock Fortress and take in its ancient frescoes and panoramic views. After the 3.5 to 4-hour drive, check into your selected hotel and unwind.
Day 4 – Habarana, Dambulla or Sigirya
Begin the day with a visit to the Victoria Golf Club for a round of golf on one of Sri Lanka’s finest courses, surrounded by majestic trees and scenic mountain views. With 1.5 to 2 hours of driving today, enjoy the cooler climate before heading back to your hotel for a peaceful evening.
Day 5 – Jaffna
Rise early for a 7:00 am departure to Jaffna. During the 4.5 to 5-hour journey, your private guide will share insights into Sri Lanka’s changing landscapes. Stop at Elephant Pass to view the war memorial before reaching Jaffna around noon. After settling into your hotel, enjoy a late afternoon city tour including Nallur Kandaswamy Temple, Jaffna Fort, and more.
Day 6 – Jaffna
After breakfast, head north to Point Pedro. Visit the famous “bottomless” well and see colonial ruins and a lighthouse. Cross the causeway to Kayts Island and enjoy a swim at Casuarina Beach. This full-day adventure includes about 5 hours of drive time and returns you to your hotel by evening.
Day 7 – Jaffna
Today begins with a visit to Keerimalai Temple and a natural seawater pool perfect for a refreshing dip. Return to Jaffna for lunch before exploring local crafts with a visit to a traditional pottery village. Spend the evening relaxing at your boutique hotel.
Day 8 – Jaffna
Start early with a packed breakfast and head to the harbor for a boat ride to Nagadeepa and Delft Islands. Ride bicycles across Nagadeepa to visit both Buddhist and Hindu temples. Continue to Delft Island to see wild ponies, an ancient Dutch fort, a Baobab tree, and more. Enjoy a home-cooked lunch with a local family before returning to Jaffna by evening after 4 hours of driving and multiple ferry rides.
Day 9 – Trincomalee
Before leaving Jaffna, stroll through its colorful fruit and vegetable market. En route to Trincomalee, stop by the Seven Hot Springs. The entire drive takes around 6 hours depending on road conditions. Check into your beachside hotel and relax.
Day 10 – Trincomalee
Tour Trincomalee in the morning, visiting Fort Frederic, Lovers Leap, and ancient Hindu temples. Spend your afternoon enjoying the soft sands or relaxing at your resort after 3+ hours of touring earlier in the day.
Day 11 – Trincomalee
A full beach day awaits! Choose from snorkeling, diving, dolphin and whale watching, or just soak in the sun. Optional visits to Pigeon Island National Park or nearby private islands are available.
Day 12 – Trincomalee
Today offers another chance for beach fun or optional excursions. Revisit Pigeon Island, relax on a secluded beach, or take part in marine adventures if you missed them earlier.
Day 13 – Colombo
After breakfast, embark on a 6 to 6.5-hour drive across scenic mountains back to Colombo. Optional stop at the Dambulla Cave Temple for a look at its spiritual art. Enjoy some final shopping or a city tour before settling into your Colombo hotel for your final night.
Day 14 – Airport
Your journey ends today as your driver transfers you to the airport, a 1 to 1.5-hour ride. Arrive 3 hours before your flight. Say goodbye to Sri Lanka with treasured memories and a heartfelt promise to return.
