Itinerary
Day 01:
- Your unforgettable journey begins as your personal chauffeur/guide welcomes you at the airport and escorts you to your comfortable hotel in Colombo. In the evening, enjoy a warm introduction to Sri Lankan hospitality with a delightful Welcome Dinner hosted by our friendly local agent.
Day 02:
- Venture inland through scenic forested landscapes as you make your way to your selected hotel in Habarana, Dambulla or Sigiriya. En route, discover the impressive Dambulla Cave Temple, known for its ancient murals and striking Buddha statues carved into the rock.

Day 1 - Colombo
Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, your dedicated chauffeur-guide will greet you warmly and escort you to your hotel in Colombo. The drive takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes depending on traffic, offering glimpses of Sri Lanka’s vibrant cityscapes and peaceful outskirts. After check-in, you’ll have time to settle in and refresh.
Based on your arrival, we’ll organize a morning or afternoon city tour to introduce Colombo’s rich colonial charm, bustling streets, and cultural gems. In the evening, enjoy a complimentary Welcome Dinner hosted by our Colombo representative at 7:00 PM—an ideal opportunity to discuss your itinerary, get insider tips, and enjoy authentic hospitality. Choose from five unique dining experiences, from gourmet Jaffna cuisine to local street food. After dinner, take a short tour of Colombo’s night scene before retreating to your hotel for a restful sleep.
Day 2 - Habarana, Dambulla or Sigiriya
Your day begins early with a scenic drive through rolling hills toward Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. Along the way, stop at the historic Dambulla Cave Temple—a UNESCO-listed marvel filled with ancient Buddhist murals and statues. After soaking in the serenity, continue on to your accommodation in Habarana, Dambulla, or Sigiriya. Settle in and prepare for the cultural wonders that await in the coming days.
Day 3 - Habarana, Dambulla or Sigiriya
Spend the day exploring the sacred ancient capital of Anuradhapura. Approximately 80km away, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is renowned for its sprawling ruins, grand stupas, and sacred Bodhi Tree—a cutting from the original tree under which the Buddha attained enlightenment. With a knowledgeable guide, you’ll uncover stories carved in stone and walk paths once taken by ancient kings and monks. Return to your hotel for another tranquil evening.
Day 4 - Habarana, Dambulla or Sigiriya
Venture toward Polonnaruwa, often regarded as one of Sri Lanka’s most picturesque historical cities. After a comfortable drive, embark on a guided tour of its temples, palaces, and royal baths. Optional: enjoy an elephant ride through Habarana’s forests—a memorable and gentle experience with Sri Lanka’s majestic wildlife. Later, visit the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress. If you're up for the climb, the views and ancient frescoes are worth every step. Return to your hotel for your final night in this area.
Day 5 - Kandy
Journey to Kandy, the scenic hill capital nestled around a serene lake. Take your time exploring this charming city’s colonial architecture, lakeside paths, and vibrant culture. You may opt to visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, a haven of tropical flora and exotic orchids. Spend the evening unwinding at your hotel and soaking in the cool mountain air.
Day 6 - Kandy
Enjoy a leisurely day in Kandy. Take in the spiritual ambiance of the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), a sacred site for Buddhists worldwide. Explore markets, local art shops, and maybe take in a cultural dance performance. If you missed the botanical gardens earlier, today’s the perfect chance. Later, relax at your hotel and reflect on your discoveries.
Day 7 - Nuwara Eliya
Rise early for an unforgettable trip to Horton Plains National Park. A guided hike through cloud forests and grassy plains brings you to the famous World’s End cliff and Baker’s Falls. Along the way, you might encounter rare wildlife like the purple-faced langur or the elusive loris. After the trek, return to your hotel in Nuwara Eliya—also known as “Little England”—and enjoy a peaceful evening.
Day 8 - Embilipitiya or Uda Walawe
After breakfast, you’ll head south. Stop at a tea estate where you’ll learn how Sri Lanka’s world-renowned tea is cultivated and processed. Continue your journey through Nuwara Eliya’s British-era charm to reach Uda Walawe National Park. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling safari to see herds of elephants, deer, and a variety of exotic birdlife. Check into your hotel in Embilipitiya or Uda Walawe for the night.
Day 9 - Tissamaharamaya or Yala
After breakfast, set out for Tissamaharamaya or Yala. En route, visit an elephant transit home, where orphaned baby elephants are cared for and rehabilitated for reintroduction to the wild. Later, explore the famed Yala National Park—Sri Lanka’s premier wildlife reserve. Keep your camera ready for leopards, elephants, and crocodiles amid a wild, dramatic landscape. Overnight in the region.
Day 10 - Hikkaduwa, Beruwala, Ahungalla or Koggala
Optional: enjoy an early morning safari in Yala for another chance to spot elusive wildlife. After breakfast, journey toward the island’s south coast. Stop to see Weligama’s stilt fishermen before exploring the historic Dutch-built Galle Fort. Visit the traditional mask-makers of Ambalangoda and the Turtle Hatchery where you can release hatchlings into the ocean. Your day ends at a luxurious beach resort in Hikkaduwa, Beruwala, Ahungalla, or Koggala.
Day 11 – Hikkaduwa, Beruwala, Ahungalla or Koggala
Relax by the turquoise waters of Sri Lanka’s southern coast. This region is perfect for sunbathing, reading, or enjoying resort activities. You may explore the nearby villages, go cycling, or take a boat ride through lush mangroves. These three days are yours to enjoy at your own pace, away from the road and full of beachside bliss.
Day 12 – Hikkaduwa, Beruwala, Ahungalla or Koggala
Another leisurely day to enjoy the beach, your resort amenities, or local excursions. Whether it’s a sunset catamaran ride, a beachfront massage, or just a long walk along the shore—today is all about relaxation and rejuvenation.
Day 13 – Hikkaduwa, Beruwala, Ahungalla or Koggala
Your final full day at the beach. Make the most of it with your favourite holiday activities—whether it's a seafood lunch by the sea, a snorkeling trip, or a quiet afternoon with a tropical drink in hand. This coastal paradise ensures a serene conclusion to your Sri Lankan journey.
Day 14 – Airport
After breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to paradise. Your driver will pick you up for the 3.5 to 4-hour transfer to the airport. Time permitting, we can arrange a brief stop in Colombo for last-minute shopping. Please ensure you arrive at the airport three hours prior to your international flight.
